Dr. Shimanov
Associate Dentist
Dr. Shimanov is a highly experienced general dentist with over two decades of clinical and leadership experience in New York. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Stony Brook and has practiced across a wide range of settings, from high-volume group practices to private ownership. Dr. Shimanov previously owned and operated an eight-operatory dental center, managing a large clinical team before successfully selling the practice to a DSO. He is currently a Senior General Practitioner at 212 Dental Care on Madison Avenue, where he focuses on complex extractions, surgical procedures, and high-quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Known for his patient-first approach, he emphasizes preventive care and long-term oral health. Dr. Shimanov is Invisalign certified and committed to delivering efficient, top-tier dental care.

Dr. Shuster
Associate Dentist
Dr. Shuster is a general dentist with advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He earned his DDS from New York University, where he co-founded the NYU Prosthodontic Society and built a national mentorship network of more than 1,000 prosthodontists. He completed the Aesthetics Honors Program and later served as the in-house prosthodontist during his residency at NewYork-Presbyterian. Dr. Shuster has restored over 1,750 crowns, veneers, bridges, and implants, including more than 70 full-mouth rehabilitation cases. His private-practice work includes digital dentistry, molar endodontics, grafting, and crown lengthening. Dr. Scanlon
Associate Dentist
Dr. Mira Scanlon is an American-trained dentist with extensive experience across hospitals, government clinics, corporate dentistry, and private practices. She previously served as a Managing Doctor at Western Dental, where she led a team of nine and provided high-volume, multi-disciplinary care. Her clinical background includes cosmetic dentistry, restorative procedures, anterior and premolar endodontics, periodontal therapy, and pediatric treatment with nitrous. Dr. Scanlon is recognized for her efficient workflow, strong diagnostic skills, and ability to adapt seamlessly to a variety of clinical systems. During her training at USC, she held multiple leadership roles within ASDA, AGD, and the Cosmetic Dentistry & Esthetics Club, earning national recognition for her contributions. She brings a patient-centered, communicative approach that emphasizes esthetics, comfort, and long-term oral health.

My name is Dr. Solomiya Bavlovych, and I am thrilled to be part of the team at 212 Dental Care. I have called New York City home since moving here from Ukraine at the age of six. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about helping others, and that passion naturally led me to the field of dentistry. I earned my degree from NYU College of Dentistry and completed my residency at NYU Langone, where I refined my clinical skills and deepened my commitment to patient-centered care. Dentistry is a constantly evolving field, and I am dedicated to continuing education and lifelong learning to ensure my patients receive the highest standard of treatment. I look forward to building lasting relationships with my patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles at 212 Dental Care.
