212 Dental Care Staff:
As you all know, in the past week, we temporarily closed for a few days because we were alerted that an individual who tested positive for covid-19 had been in our facility. Since then, we have been working directly with City and State governmental authorities to help guide our next steps.
We are happy to report, based on the information we have, which included an investigation of possible contacts, that no one was directly exposed to the individual in question. We worked closely with the NYC Department of Health and they confirmed our understanding. Moreover, the government representatives that we have been working with have specifically advised us, after evaluating the situation, that staff are not required to isolate or quarantine (although they may choose to do so), and that the office should remain open.
We are continuing to screen employees before they start work and as they exit, and to adhere to all required safety protocols and procedures. I would reiterate that if you believe that anyone in our office is not in full compliance with our rigorous safety protocols, you should please provide that information so that we can investigate and determine if any corrective actions or discipline is warranted. If you would like to remain anonymous, please utilize our Anonymous eSuggestion Box, which can be found here: https://forms.gle/zT3AZ7XcAG4rnunTA
If we receive any further guidance from the City or State about any additional actions or precautions that staff should take, we will be sharing that with all employees.
Sincerely,
212 Dental Care Management
